Does anyone know of a website showing Kings work on SAAs?

Post by Scott Tschirhart »

I’ve seen some of their work in Keith’s books. But I wonder if anyone has compiled anything about this subject?

Scott, I looked around and found this.https://americanhandgunner.com/handguns ... hool-cool/
And also this https://smith-wessonforum.com/threads/d ... ad.611178/
My Old Friend who collected Savage 99's had several with King front sights with a tiny mirror behind the front bead. It looks like Cornell publications has reprints of some of the King catalogs.

Neat. Is that the same rear sight S&W used on the Registered Magnums?

Sure looks like an adjustable S&W rear sight.

I see Special on the barrel, 38 or 44? And more importantly, did you buy it?

Wow! I never seen that front sight before with the mirror, or the rear sight either.

I have a Kings front sight with a gold bead and the mirror for a rifle.

Fermin Garza makes a King inspired reflector sight. I'd like to try one, new or old.

It’s a .38 Special. Tightest SAA I’ve ever handled.

But no, I didn’t buy it.

Scott,

I stumbled onto this video which gives a good look at a DW King Colt SAA, 45 Colt 4 3/4. Hope it is of some help.
