Newer Rossi rear sights

I ordered a new Rossi buckhorn rear sight its 10 MM dovetail.
Had to use dovetail file but fit good and looks much better than the old two piece junk that came on the 92 30 years ago.

Of course I got rid of all the Rosi on mine

Ah okay. It looks better than the previous rear sights they offered.

Its an near exact replica of the early Winchester sporting rear sight. And has the larger 10 MM dovetail. Mine is 1995 year.
$29 on ebay.

I don’t know if they are original, but my M92 rifle has a flat blade on the rear and a flat post front. Pretty nice sight picture with the long barrel

That looks like the same sight that came on my 2004 EMF "Hartford" mdl.

While it is a much better sight than the ones I have from the '80s, I didn't mind their simple functionality.

Does the riser piece interfere with the notch? I mean, can you see the riser in the notch when the sight is at its lowest setting? My buddy had a new Rossi a couple of years ago and that is how the sight was. Also, I can't remember exactly what, but there was something else about it that was weird. It wasn't pleasant to use, or conducive to accuracy.
