Not here either, and have never heard of the brand.

I remember CIL rimfire ammo first appearing in my area in the mid 60's. Many often confused it with CCI ammo, which appeared about the same time. I never saw centerfire ammo.

I have heard of it. I believe it was a Canadian company. If you look at vintage ammo on gunBroker you'll usually see a bunch of this stuff. I know at least for stuff like 32-40 and 38-55

Oh brother they have my grail gun. Webley Fosbery. And in great shape. Only $17,000. To think I passed on one years ago for $7000 (kids have to eat first).

Yeah, its Canadian ammo (Canadian Industries Limited IIRC). I shot many a round of their 22lr stuff. It was great ammo and seemed to be a bit higher powered than even WW super-x. My Mod. 39A really liked it. Still have some somewhere

When I was a kid the Holiday gas station stores had their own line of ammo, made by CIL/Dominion. I shot a ton of the .22, pretty sure it was loaded with Unique. Thinking back, the first time I ever fired a center-fire rifle it was with CIL.308 from a Winchester 100.

There was a box of CIL 220 gr '06 in a bunch of secondhand ammo I bought some years back. It was good accurate stuff and didn't drop nearly as much as I was expecting.
