Marlin 1894 45 Colt
I'm just curious if all Marlin 45 Colt chambers are so generous? Accurate rifle I picked up earlier this year, but boy howdy my brass has a bulge ahead of the rim that makes me seem skinny. The fired brass will not even slide halfway into the chambers of any of the 4 45 Colt revolvers I own, and forget about getting it even a quarter way in my FA model 83 in 454.

Mine is pretty tight. Never had a bulge

Which model is yours? Mine is a Cowboy Limited with the 20" octagonal barrel.

,
Mine is an odd-case. It started life as a 44 Mag, but I bought a new production Marlin factory round barrel in 45 Colt, and swapped them out, but the brass barely bulges - similar to my 44 Mag one I didn't rebarrel. It is a Marlin factory barrel though. Unsure barrel vintage but at least 12 years old so pre-2013 for sure.
