1/2 Price Books -- big used bookstore chain -- sometimes comes through ---- they also had a Craig Boddington book on safari rifles , but it was a princely sum of $20 -- so i sequestered it on another shelf that i can find next time i have a bit more pocket money (trying not to completely blow up my credit card this holiday season)
But for 8 bucks - im hoping this will be a cool addition to my outdoor library !

That kind of reading makes cold winter nights tolerable, combined with a nice fire, and some bourbon, herbal tea, or hot chocolate.
Add a dog at your feet or a woman snuggling alongside, and it doesn't get much better.

Nothing of help for that here. 36 years of marriage and still going for PillHer and me. All the single ones I know are way too young to send your way. 18 to 25. And that age range is still a bunch of little kids nowadays.

We actually have 2, and I'm sorry to say I've only been in one of them. I stopped by last week and walked out with the 1976 Handloaders Digest and a paperback about the 8th Air Force Big Week during WW2 for the princely sum of $3.
Thanks for sharing your find. When I looked at the picture of the book, it reminded me that I bought it in the 70's when I was a member of the Outdoor Life Book Club. I thought it was somewhere on the book shelves. A brief search and there it was! I will be perusing its pages in the near future!
