It was a light day today.

I was shooting the 22 Magnum today. I took the Ruger American to the Range, testing 4 different loads. Two of the loads I had never shot before. They were the Fiocchi 40 gr. and the Federal 50 gr. loads. The CCI Maxi Mags and the Hornady 33 gr. loads I had shot before and the CCI seemed to be the most accurate.

I did all the shooting at 50 yards, using a rest. I was testing 4 different loads, 2 of which I had not shot before.

I did not shoot more than 3 round with the Fiocchi. The group was so small I knew I would screw it up if I kept shooting. I had been shooting about an hour and a half by then and knew I was getting tired. I will shoot more later. Right now I just want to enjoy looking at that target

Thank You John. It is always a pleasure to shoot a firearm that is more accurate than I am. :D

Well, Jim, now you have me curious what a 10-shot group with that Fiocchi would look like — at 50 and 100 yards. 8)
