...high-profile Democrat to attend Charlie Kirk's memorial?

Even Josh Shapiro? (Who's house was fire-bombed?)

What a missed opportunity. Even if they were completely fake, how incredibly stupid.

If Josh had asked to speak, and simply stood up and stated "Political violence has no place in America. Erika, I am truly sorry for your loss." he would have zoomed to the undisputed lead of the Democrat party. And his comments would have had heft, given what he endured. Again, even if faked, it may have cooled the temperature a bit.

The left is truly brainless...

Today's Democrats are pretty much a lost cause.

The ones I know either are filled with hate and openly endorse violence, or have the attitude that Kirk was just a 'right wing Bible-banger' and to be ignored.

NONE of the Democrats I know even bothered to watch any of the Sunday ceremony, dismissing it as a 'political event'.

Of course NONE of the Democrats I know ever listened to ANYTHING Kirk said - like the rest of their bubble-shielded life, the only thing they need to know about 'the Right Wing' is whatever CNN tells them. They consider Fox 'far-Right' (in my experience the Gateway Pundit is maybe 'Right', although they are nearly always accurate, but Fox is 'mild-Left' or at best 'Center'), so of course they cannot listen directly to Fox - they just listen to whatever Huffington Post or CNN tell them that Fox (or Kirk) said. They do that and say they listen to 'all sides'...

Sadly, although many are "leaving the Democrat Party", many have been so propagandized that they absolutely cannot flip to Republican.
I see some of their points - the RINO faction of the Republicans make me puke, but realistically there is no 'third party' at the Federal level to go with.
I really DO think Libertarians should nearly always be voted for at the Local and State level though.

Anyway, there are a lot of people waking up now - so hopefully things will improve. No time to be complacent though...!

I have many Democrat friends. Half of them have TDS and, I fear, will never recover; the other half of them are too embarrassed about and, yes, AFRAID of their colleagues to speak out. Truthfully, I don't blame the cowards too much...

But, I have informed both groups that regardless of their stance they are a distinctly small minority and that if they want to discuss it with me, they will begin with, "You know, I'll admit it, you were right..." Otherwise, suffer in silence...
