When it rains, it pours!

Post by TedH »

That statement is normally used in the context of bad events stacking up. But in this instance its actually a good thing. After fulfilling my long time want with the original 1894 38-55 a couple weeks ago, the only other rifle I've been searching for, for literally years, appeared out of the blue. Now I have the Valmet 412 double rifle in 375 Winchester on the way from Wisconsin. This happens to be a 3 barrel set, 12 ga, 30-06, and 375 Win.
This will complete my 375 Win collection of one from every manufacturer.
Thankfully I have a very understanding wife. Though this did cost me a new kitchen island too!

Good for You!! That Valmet is a High Quality Gun. My "Grail" gun is a 20 ga Browning Auto 5 shotgun, Everytime one shows up at a decent price I miss them.

Nice find Ted! I always thought a 412 with as bany barrels a guy could get his hands on would cover all the bases.

I finally picked up my 'grail' gun after 30 years of off and on searching. A Parker VH 20ga.
