Speaking of Tom Threepersons

Post by Bill in Oregon »

Samsi mentioned this famous lawman rests in the Masonic Cemetery in Silver City. I was in town on an errand and paid respects.
Here is a brief biography of a remarkable man:

Skeeter lived less than an hour south of here. Bet he stood before this stone a time or two.

I have heard only good about him. May he rest in peace.

Here is another account of Tom Threepersons. I would love to see a movie based on his character but with so little being known about him for certain, Hollywood would totally embellish all accounts and it would likely not be a accurate depiction.

IMO, The Tom Threepersons from Canada was a different person, I have heard it pitched both ways. None the less, both seem to be someone you would want on your side when things went bad. I have more than 1 copy of his holster around and they are definitely FAVORITES!

Their story's are so totally conflated, I'm not sure anyone has ever sorted them out.
