First time posting

Post by Wolfshead »

I’ve been a member for a while and I’ve just never got around to posting.
Lost sight of this site for a bit and recently found it again.

I’m not an aficionado on levers but I do love them.
Grew up on Saturday morning westerns.

I have a run of the mill 1980 Winchester model 94, that shoots well and carries well for me on my still hunts in those thick woods.

Welcome Wolfshead! That's a great levergun! I personally would not call it "run-of-the-mill" ... :D

Howdy Wolfshead,

Did you make that leather butt cuff? Very Nice!

Welcome Wolfshead! Nice pictures of a fine rifle. I agree with Jim T -- with the receiver sight and cartridge-holding butt sock you are well above "run of the mill".

Welcome and it's a great Winchester anyway you look at it, I've got two similar! And I'd be willing to bet good money those FTX are very accurate, they're very accurate in all three my 30-30's! At least they look like the 160ftx?

Welcome - and that is a VERY nice levergun. One nice one may be better than a closet full of beaters...!

However, please hang out here awhile, and I'm sure we'll get you to buy more leverguns (it makes us feel better to have more folks become addicts like us...)
