Part of 'identifying as a boy' in first grade was figuring out which pocket knife to bring, and which pocket to put your knife in, and which one your wallet. Likely the wallet only had a family picture, and maybe some club membership card for cub scouts or 4H, and the knife was often a not-that-good 'official Boy Scout folding knife', but a boy without a knife would have been thought a bit 'odd' to say the least. AND THERE WAS NEVER A KNIFE USED VIOLENTLY. We were young 'men' with weapons, but also with a sense of right and wrong.

Now, we are raising fragile children who not only don't know what 'gender' they are, but who have NO self-control and NO sense of responsibility - the ONLY reason they don't stab one another rampantly is to the extent they are not allowed to have knives, and the ONLY reason they don't shoot one another instead is to the extent that we keep guns out of their hands.

Thankfully at least when it comes to schools - there are now plenty of private and home-school environments that are a bit less awful.

No license required for knives YET but severe punishment for carrying certain types of blades, I carry three knives daily, a tiny Sak on my keyring and a bigger Sak on my belt and I always have a traditional single blade pocket knife in my pocket and also plenty of fixed blade knives for hunting etc.
What I find more worrying at the moment is something that sounds impossible but I assure you is true, a man was arrested for saying that "he likes bacon" he said it in front of illegal immigrants who apparently don't. Britain is under a socialist dictator with a complicit police force. Fortunately President Trump and vice president Vance know exactly what is going on here and have spoken out about it, thus gaining a lot of support from the British public. Unlike the USA the UK has not known real freedom for a long time, socialist governments over the years have eroded what freedom we did have but at last the sheeple are waking up and taking to the streets to protest. Talk of civil war is often mentioned and if things get worse it may even happen.

Tony Blair the Ex labour prime minister is responsible for opening the flood gates and letting the Muslim hoards take over our cities. The whole of Europe is experiencing the same invasion as Britain and Ireland.

I had forgotten about the tiny SAK on my keyring when passing through the checkpoint for an air show at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, NM. The Air Force has it still.

for sure having guns is an headstart but you can still start with out them. Guns can be gained. Revolutions are dependant on the will and committment of the people and if its high enough you can start one with a sharp stick. I agree the will, will probably not be there. For revolution you need either of two things, losing your assets or empty bellies and folks are still well fed.
