Cool, thanks for sharing.

I talked to a Clanton last year I think it was. Terry "Ike" Clanton was his name. A direct descendant of the Ike Clanton from the OK Corral gunfight in Tombstone. The guy is an actor and also has his amatuer radio license. I too have my ham radio ticket and struck up a good rag chew with the fella on 20 meters one evening. It was fascinating to hear his side of the legendary gunfight that his ancestors participated in.

Virgil Earp is buried right here at Riverview Cemetery. Been up to see his grave site a couple times, but he's not talking much.

I was about 7 years old at my Dad's side when he was introduced to Mr. Earp by mutual friend, and rodeo promoter Clyde Miller.

A few generations back Uncle of mine named Solomon Iman operated a Ferry across the Missouri River near St Joseph, Missouri. Jesse James approached him and forced him to ferry him across the river, and once on the other side James shot Solomon dead.

Yes. His daughter lived here in Portland, Or. so when he died she had him buried here so he could be close by.

Was in Basic with Bobby Dalton. A descendant of one of the family. He was from Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
When my Grandmother's parents moved to the Oklahoma Panhandle about 1900, she was 6 years old. The parents leased their farm to one of Frank and Jesse James relatives. That was in independence, Kansas. Ephraim Barnes was a blacksmith there, and my Grandmother's Grandfather. One of Grandma's Uncles on the Ayres side, Aliyah, had gone to Alaska. Still has descendants in Seward, Alaska.
