Hello, I am new to the forum
Hello Folks,
I recently joined up here and wanted to introduce myself. The name is Jim and I look forward to taking in the knowledge available here by the rest of you folks. I love lever guns and own a half dozen or so myself. Anyway, that is all. Thanks for having me at the forum.

Alright, here is a couple 1892's. The one on the left is a 1907 Winchester originally chambered in 25-20 but converted to 218 Bee with a doner barrel from a bolt action Winchester 43. My father converted it back in the early 1950's. The one on the right is an old interarms era Rossi 92 in .45 Colt. Both shoot spectacular.Tycer wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 9:10 pmDieselman wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 6:49 pm Hello Folks,

Here's my other 1892. This one is a Miroku built Winchester in 357 Magnum.

Welcome!
I have a 92, it wears a 218 Bee ' postal' barrel. Someone decide it needed a side scope mount ( done poorly!) and the stock has been replaced. I'm now working on picking up a 92 in 25-20 from 1910 . It's from the same private collection I got the Bee. A 38-40 in the collection as well. None are safe queens !

Welcome to the fire Jim. Looks like you got the right equipment. Love the 92 project. I used to do stuff like that back in the day once in a while. Sometimes those projects make the best hunting and shooting guns.
Full disclosure......the dues on this forum are expensive. You're required to buy more leverguns, in any condition or type. Plus, all the parts and accessories needed for said guns.
Good luck!

The Bee may not win any beauty contests, but it shoots like a laser. Everytime I take it out, I am just amazed how accurate it is.
Here is a funny little story. I went to one of my relatives house a few years ago that was hosting a "gender reveal" party for him and his wife's expected baby. He set up a pumpkin packed with tannerite and blue powder about 100 yards down this draw. He had a crowd of around 80 people, myself included, about 30 yards behind him up on a hill overlooking the draw. He proceeds to take out an AR15 and 30 round mag with some cheap looking chinese scope and starts blasting away trying to hit the pumpkin. After emptying a 30 round mag into nothing, I told my wife I was going to go save him. I walked over to my pickup and took out the 218 Bee and went over to him. Asked him if I could have a crack at it. He agreed. One .218 Bee and KaBoom!! Blue powder filled the air! The crowd cheered and the gun became legendary at that moment! I run across attendees from time to time and they always ask, "You still got that old cowboy gun that saved the day?" Of course I do. I would never get rid of the Bee!

There is a reason why they are known as " The Legendary Winchester" !
Mine is an ok shooter, question is did you develop an accuracy load?
