That log hauler sure changed the logging industry.
Nice thing about the coal/wood fired vehicles was you stayed warm in the winter but I bet they were unbearably hot in the warm months.
A buddy from school lives in NoDak, the parking meters are there so you can plug in your vehicle, not to pay for parking but for electricity.

I like seeing that people survive FAR more extreme weather than I've ever experienced. It gives me confidence humankind will survive whatever 'climate change' the nutcases are whining about.

My friend in Wyoming said as a teenager they would charge local ranchers $5 to come start their trucks, tractors when it got in the negative temps. They had a similar heater and would cover the vehicle with a tarp and heat them up.
