Thank you very much one and all for your thoughts. I am not officially a senior citizen at age 65, though I did retire early in December of 2021 due to disability. I also just celebrated 44 years of marriage to my lovely wife. Sorry I have been MIA. I haven't shot a levergun or any gun in 17 years or April of 2008. The only range here is closed, and nowhere to hunt, too crowded. Unless you count my Daisy model 10 a glorified Red Ryder with adult sized butt stock, and rear sight from a TC Contender. I also got a couple decent powered break barrel air rifles in .177, and .22. Pellets are cheap. Any hoots, thanks again.
