Companion to your lever gun

Post by ywaltzucanrknrl »

A friend came over from Sheridan Wyo last weekend and we did some reloading and shooting. He brought me something I like---coffee, I make mine Turkish style. Anyway the coffee is good and reading a bit about the company shows it has an interesting history and also some other cool packaging and coffee. I have had their Bear Fight coffee also and I like it a bit better, it's quite a bit darker roast.

But thought you guys would get a "kick" out of their packaging.

That looks great Jon. 8)
I might have to order a bag of No. 26, as I am a dark roast man.

Turkish coffee or some call it Jewish coffee is unfiltered. I take whole beans of the roast that I like and grind them very fine to a flour. Then put the coffee in a Turkish coffee pot like the one in the link and either fill it with boiling water and stir or put it on the stove with cold water and heat and stir it until it boils. Let the grounds or sludge settle and then pour it in a cup. It makes a very rich, strong coffee similar to expresso. Simple and kind of like cowboy coffee.

Thanks for posting this.

I went to their site and ordered Lever Action coffee and Number 26 as well. Always interested in trying another coffee. ;)
