You did. He had a conversation today with Old Savage about 32-20s and called himself Jay Bird.

That would sound like him, he is one of the most knowledgeable people on this forum, but at times he needs someone to help give him current world perspective and discretion. That being said, this place would be greatly diminished without him for sure. I consider him a friend, have for years and we have spoken by phone I think a few times. Hoping my comment does not make him angry. It's just sometimes in this day and age, the rules have changed, and we need to be more careful with our words. -Tutt

The Jay Bird discussion was actually back in 2019. Whether he's visited our forum or not, I can't tell, but the last time he posted anything was a few days after the election in November.

I see that you're absolutely correct, JRD. I was a bit hasty.

Hopefully he's doing more shooting and reloading in retirement. And jawboning at the local gun store. His threads always have great pictures of some of the amazing stuff he has accumulated.
... I love poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.

I continue to miss his humor and posts. He reminds me very much of a neighbor down the road, only the neighbor is not a 'gun guy' but more of a 'car guy'... Still the same politics and humor though.

I think he took a Quality Control Job with ROSSI! Probably keeps him busy!

Gun Control is not about guns, it is about control!
