Model 73 Lever Action in 9mm

Post by kaschi »

It seems that Taylor's and Company is now making a Model 1873 in 9mm called the "TC73". They showed it at the SHOT SHOW a couple of weeks ago and IIRC, it is made here in the USA. Just thought I'd pass this info along for those who desire a lever gun in 9mm.

I believe there was a discussion a couple months back. It seems like fun to me.

I thought so too. A fun plinker that would be cheap to shoot and easy to find ammo for.
Not that I would want to head off into the woods with one as a defensive rifle, but an SRC would be the cat's
behind as a little farm gun around here.
It will be interesting to see how it handles the rimless round. I'm sure the traditionalists are ready to have a batch of kittens over this. :D

Cheapest centerfire ammo around. Smart play on their part.
