If I read their Web site right, this rear sight was first released in 2008. Anyone know otherwise?

Re: Marbles Bullseye rear sight?
.
Seems like I've had Marble's "Bullseye" rear sights on some of my guns since before 2001, but I'm really not sure. I know they are among my favorite rear sights, for simplicity, SPEED, durability, and yet also allow accuracy. Few other sights do all that well.

Probably correct, they got a mention on Leverguns.com back in 2009. See post # 9 and a few others here: https://levergunscommunity.org/viewtopic.php?t=19637
