Question for anyone with a MP hollow point or hollow base bullet mold.
Where do you get replacement E-clips for the connection stems?
I got a New Old never used HB MP mold. But in the accessory bag, there were only 12 E-clips. I have already checked my local hardware stores and hobby shops, for these metric clips. No one carries the size.
My thinking is that, they would get tempered through the heating process of molding and loose their strength. So how many clips do or have you used up on your mold(s)? And then have the same issue as my question above.
Thanks for any comments.

In a pinch, you could take an SAE size that is a touch small, and open it up with a dremel tool.

I've never had need to replace one. Can you order them from MP directly?

Thank you, you did answer my question in a manner that I wanted or hoped for. The fact that you have never had to replace them and that I have 10 left, well that will work.Ysabel Kid wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 8:08 am I've never had need to replace one. Can you order them from MP directly?
We will wait for the future to do anymore searching for replacements or extras.

YES, you CAN get replacements from MP.
I just ordered my first MP mould a few months ago and wondered the same thing after I got it. Looked on their site and there are several spare parts available for more than reasonable prices, but shipping will be a kick in the gut.
Then, I wished I'd looked closer while ordering the mould so I could have had spares tossed in with that shipping. $26 to ship the mould, I think, which wasn't bad for coming from Eastern Europe, but wouldn't want to pay that much to ship some tiny parts.

Yikes, on the shipping cost. I got my New Old mold off of Ebay from Texas, at a $6+ shipping cost. You are correct, I did look there first, the E-clips can be bought for $1.83/20 but it did not make sense too me, either. I was hoping for an American source. On other sites, people just state 'I found them at the local hardware store'. Well not in my big town or general local. 'Oh well'Jeff H wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 7:25 pm YES, you CAN get replacements from MP.

You could measure and search online to find the metric size and try eBay, but they'll offer a great price on a screw (no pun intended) and then want $10 to ship it.
What I might suggest is to stay connected and pay attention to anyone who's thinking about ordering an MP mould and ask if he'll order some extra spare parts for you.
I'd plan on stocking up on my next MP order, the mould I got is so awesome that I may never need another mould.
