ISP going out of business

Post by J Miller »

Welp, as of midnight tonight (Sunday) my ISP and email will be no more.
Tomorrow will be a big pain in the rear. I have had another ISP all along, (didn't know it) but I know not how to set it up. Tried today but their system would not accept the email I have now and wanted me to use the old one that will be gone at midnight.
I keep getting foreigners that are hard to understand.
So I'll be back as soon as I can.

Take care every body.

Joe

Outdoors unlimited is gone, the weird thing is that in spite of all the trouble the computer picked up the net yesterday morning like normal, I just don't have a home page. No biggie.

So, here I am, got all worried about nothing.

It's raining like crazy right now ( 9:07 am), been raining all night, so I'ma gonna hibernate today.

.
I used to program computers when in college (knew three different compiling languages and was semi-fluent in assembler for the 8088 series), but NOW, more and more I find I dislike computers. Our society is too dependent on them.

I had them for my email but not ISP as well Joe for almost the whole time they were in business. I already had a gmail email address so started switching over as soon as they announced they were ending email service. It was a bit of a pain but I already had my email off in Outlook on my computer so I didn't have to worry about getting them downloaded. I just had to go to a bunch of sites that had that address and change it over. I didn't realize they were ending the ISP side as well, but I'm not surprised. At this point that's a tough business to be in without a high speed option
