I have two Rossi 92s on each I need receiver micrometer sights installed. I have the sights in hand.
I also have a barreled receiver (complete action should not be needed) on which I want front sight installed. I do not have the sight assembly in hand.
If the gunsmith can drill+tap with Rossi 92s' receivers complete, I could ship all three. But I would strongly prefer to be able to hand deliver and pick up. Turnaround time is very important because these are all the centerfire rifles I own.

I don't know if this post will help, but here's my experience (did it myself and I'm definitely NOT a 'gunsmith'...!)

My cost was $30 in tools, plus the sights I bought.
It definitely helps to have a drill press, but for the cost of having three done by a gunsmith, you could buy a decent drill press for sure.
It really was an easy project.
