Fearsome damage
I made some hunting loads for my buddy to use on Whitetail and Black Bear in NC. The rifle is a Winchester 1892 Legacy 24" 357 mag.
200 grain Controlled Chaos (Lehigh Defense)
These are meant for 358 Win I believe.
This is an above listed max charge of Lil Gun (no pressure signs).
This is a VERY accurate load for a levergun, easily 2" at 100 yards.
He loads 2 of them and then fills the rest of the tube with handloaded Montana Bullet Works 160 grain HCGC-FN.
He said this whitetail was shot at 79 yards broadside but with a slight quarter toward him. It was DRT, never took a step.

Re: Fearsome damage
Very impressive load! I can't imagine getting any more performance on deer out of a .357 carbine.

Re: Fearsome damage
Impressive for sure! I may want to try that bullet in my newly acquired Henry 360 Buckhammer, when I finally get enough stuff to reload for it.
Any idea what the feet per second was out of that 24" barrel?

Re: Fearsome damage
I would imagine it would be stellar out of a real rifle cartridge
