I'm all for protecting community owned fish and game but seems like this CO was nasty.

Oh, it's worse than that....in every state....every state, a game & fish person can go anywhere, without a warrant, that a recognized game animal can go. Squirrels & raccoons often enter attics and all sorts of beasts go under houses for refuge or for whatever instinctive reason. This give the badge heavy or re(vengeful) office probable cause.

Once upon a time a mentally handicapped puppy loving neighbour (autistic) called the animal control agency after another neighbour was forced to shoot a dangerous b---h with pups and the then whining & howling orphaned pups took refuge under the enclosed storage area of my tractor shed. He (the glorified dog catcher with a badge) used a pry bar to remove lock and hasp just to ensure none of the pups were trapped inside. B.T.W., there were no holes for the pups to get inside the storage room from underneath. That night or possibly the next some high dollar items were missed including a $600 four-stroke petrol generator. The deputies were fetched with the autistic busybody being interviewed in light of him cohabiting with his probationary paroled elder brother (35 yrs. aggravated rape/minor). The autistic guy (in his mid forties) was adamant that the animal control officer had returned while I was absent (night-worker) and had committed the burglary. Veracity of the suspicion/accusation ? Delusions and juvenile fantasies often go along with his particular mentality but he would not alter his testimony despite deputy's arguments. I never heard anything else about either the unconstitutional entry or the missing items.
