The northern lights are very visible here in central Indiana tonight. Much more visible through a cell phone camera than naked eye for whatever reason. Maybe they pick up more in the red spectra or something.

We were able to see them faintly with our naked eyes. I got a reasonable picture too. Second time I'd ever seen them, the first was very faint. This time I could make out pinks and greens, some lines and so forth. It's awesome that God made that.

We saw it here on the s shore of Long Island, mostly reds but could see the greens through the cell phone camera, always wanted to see the Northern lights, but it's very rare here,
