Doing the math

This lovely fräulein is carrying 10 liter steins of bier. I just weighed a simple ceramic half-liter stein filled to the line with water and it weighed just over 41 ounces. So if we estimate each of those glass liter steins weighs a conservative 80 ounces, she is carrying 800 ounces, or 50 pounds of glass and bier. These gals do this all day at the Oktoberfest in Munich, where Reuters photographer Angelika Warmuth took this photo.

When younger, I traveled through several European countries. The German gals were the most attractive, being generally fit and not slathered over in makeup.

If I can see makeup, or fake eyelashes, or fake anything for that matter, I'm way less attracted (not that it matters, since I've been hitched to my significant other since I was a teenager, and am still twitterpated).

That's two of us. Piercings and tattoos are even worse. Then there's obesity. Happily I found a gal with none of that rot, and she even likes me! :)
