Re: Hornady leverevolution

Thanks Guys,

I guess I will stick to the hardcast bullets. I assume the lack of comments either means hardcasts are the way to go or no one has tried them.

Thanks,

Geoff

Hornady leverevolution

Het Guys,

How does the Hornady leverevolution 357's work on deer compared to a 180 hardcast traditional 357 bullet on deer?

Is the Hornady any good?

Thanks,

Geoff

Reloading for a Marlin 1894 Lever action 38/357 Rifle

Hey Guys,

I have a Marlin 1894 Lever action 38/357 Rifle I am reloading for. How heavy of a crimp should I put on the case using a Lee crimp die, light, medium or heavy.

Thanks for your help.

Hornady 357 FXT

Hey Guys,

Has anyone hunted with this ammo. How does the 140 gr. FXT compare to a hand loader 185 gr hardcast bullet for deer and hogs?

Thanks,

Geoff

Ammo carrier

Hey Guys, Can you give me some reasonably priced ideas on a good ammo holder which holds approx. 40 rounds of 357 that make the ammunition readily available (worn on your person) but yet is secure so the rounds do not fall out. I have had bad luck with ammo holders that hold a large amount of ammo t...

Marlin 1894 - 357/38

Hey Guys, I have a Marlin 1894 357 rifle and have a question about ammunition. In the past I have hand loaded ammunition for hunting purposes, but I want to be able to buy factory ammunition also. What is the best factory load for medium game (including deer and pigs)? What is the best factory load ...
