Re: Chairman of the.......politically incorrect

Sounds like grape vines. Are they good for anything? Not to my knowledge. However they can and do kill trees so just cut them off at the ground and the trees will thank you. Small vines can be turned into wreaths.

Re: Chairman of the.......politically incorrect

1:8 probably your best bet, will shoot 55,62,69 & 77s just fine, although those Barnes are probably quite long? Never know till ya try em. Ive got a 1:8 & a 1:9, the 9 twist doesn't like 77 AT ALL!

Re: .444 Rechamber to .44mag??

You would have to pull the barrel, cut off the chamber end, turn a new shank, thread it, cut extractor groove, chamber it, fill/ cut new hanger. Could it be done sure but just buy a 44 mag rifle. As for shooting a 44 mag out of a 444 sure it head spaces off the rim. I've shot 9mm out of a 40, like D...

Well I got an email back from Caldwell, they don't have replacement screens but they will sell a replacement unit at 40% off. Maybe I'll get a new one and sit on it.

Yes I normally find less than max charge to be best accuracy.

In this case it was a pellet. I have no idea how it happened. Since I can connect to my phone I don't pay attention to the screen. The reason I was 10' was that was where the sunlight was , hopes of getting better readings. I shot a few of each. If I had been closer I might not of had the stray that hit the screen- still scratching my head over that. From sandbags no less!

I've always felt a .20 to be the best of both worlds. Heavier pellets than 177 , flatter shooting than a .22. That being said .20 guns are few, pellet selection is slim. RWS 350 Magnum. This rifle will easily push light pellets over the speed of sound. I still need to try them out of my RWS Model 45.
The 45 has a much better trigger, usually shoots better than the 350 but these shoot very well! Might get the crony out this weekend and do some fps testing.
