Re: Dreaming about a 32 Winchester Special

Quick note for future searches. Convinced by true experts 30-30 and 32 Special really too similar to worry about as far as performance. 30-30 is never a mistake in a deer rifle. I chose a 32 pre-64 94. 1- Cast was important and many posts said the 32 was the easiest cast rifle they ever loaded first...

Re: Opinions on lever 22's?

This has been an incredible thread. The 22 lever is alive and well for many good reasons. I have decided to pick-up a 32 Special in a 1957 94 instead of a 22 right now. The rifle budget is done for now. Based on this thread specifically I've decided that there are a number of top notch choices and w...

Well a late pre-64 94 is looking good. The price is doable and I'm negotiating. The rifle pics seem ok and the seller has a good rep. on our primary Canadian trading site. It is a bone stock 32 Special and I'm waiting on confirmation of condition and the SN for dating. No Marlin 32s available and th...

Marlin or Winchester 30-30 or 32 Special?

I tried to look up some threads to avoid this question. The search found Marlin and Winchester too common, go figure! I am moving along with my new rifle. It started out as a 32 Special but 30-30 is fine. It will depend on the rifle. The problem is Marlin or Winchester. This rifle will be for cast s...

To me a brush gun is a handy short barreled longarm that you can take into heavy cover with less hardware to hang up on vegetation. Also a an adequate chambering to drop game quick. A brush gun to me is NOT a gun designed to shoot through brush, you don't shoot at game you cannot see, that just isn...
