Re: Diameter of ring for pre-64 M94 SRC

I must apoligize here. I did a measured thickness of the ring using a metric caliper which gave me a 4mm diameter. That would be 5/32" or .156" for the ring diameter. I would like someone to do a measured thickness of an original Winchester pre-64 ring with a caliper to see what difference...

Diameter of ring for pre-64 M94 SRC

I have a new production ring and stud for my 1923 M94 SRC. The ring is 4mm diameter. Were the originals a larger diameter, possibly about 6mm diameter?

Okay. I did it. I could resist as I have wanted a 9422 for a long time, and a trapper no less. Baby came home. The Lever family just keep getting bigger.

Opinions on 9422 trapper.

I am eyeing a 9422 trapper in a local gun store. The price is $595. The gun is very clean, and includes a Bushnell 4 x28 varmit scope. I really like the 9422 and the trapper seems to be somewhat rare. While I would agree that prices for 9422's are high, this gun appears to be on the low-end for pric...
