It's not over yet. The state will likely appeal to the 9th circuit court. And it may well end up in the supreme court. But it is a step in the right direction. But if they do appeal a lot depends on if they get an injunction to stop sales/ownership during the appeals process.

Absolute minimum would be two Marlins, 39 and 1895 GS. And two 99's in 22-250 and 30-06. I have the Marlins but have never really been enamored of the Savage 99. But it's the only lever gun offered in a descent varmit round or my go to caliber 30-06.

I suppose folks select a firearm based on many factors. It seems to me one should be what works. Another should be personal experience. But these days fewer and fewer folks have personal experience. That’s not a bad thing.

Oh heck. I can start an argument on almost any firearms forum. All I have to do is say that the AR-15/M16 is the worst firearm ever forced on a combat troop in history. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
