very true you have to handle each situation differant depending on the animal but it isn't hard to start knowing which animal you are viewing by their eye's,size and behavior.... it is by far one of the most enjoyable ways to hunt yotes when it is dark and they are trying to be very sneaky :D and yo...

Re: How about the "most under-appreciated" cartridge!

I got real lucky a few years ago and bought one that was in very good condition with little wear for $140 and I was very surprised at how good it shoots 3/4 to 1 inch groups 100 yards with most factory ammo but it really shows out with winchester 150grain silvertips....very fun to shoot :D

35 rem would be nice but I would love to have one in 7-30 waters or maybe even convert one to it......would be awsome if hornady would make a Leverevolution in 7-30 waters the cartridge has so much potential in a levergun.

I have read a few post about extractor problems but I haven't had any problem at all with mine. but like i said earlier the action was kinda gritty when I first got it and took a few hundred cycles to smooth out.

I have purchased a 464 and have to say it is a welcome firearm to my collection, the action took a little work to brake in and smooth up but after cycling it a few hundred times smoothed up like a well broke in winnie. Handles very much like the 94 until you feel the safety under your thumb and noti...
