Re: Utube Hickock 45
I see him at gunshows in the middle TN area. He is easy to spot, as he is probably 6'6 or better. He is friendly, and will take a minute to talk to you, or take a picture. Love his channel.

Re: Tell me about the .350 Remington Mag...
I know a max load of H4895, a 200 grn hornady spire point in my model 673 smacks deer like I've never seen. A hit in any vital area will leave a blood trail Ray Charles could follow, and they never go far.

As an Air Guard technician myself, I will wish you good luck. I was in Avionics on C-130's until we lost them this year. I now have to go back to Tech School as well for a network Intel analyst. I sure will miss being an aircraft maintainer, but my new position is a pay raise, so it isn't all bad. N...

My dad was very adamant that you cant eat rabbit before the first frost, because of parasites. Distance of 15 yds, bow of 60lbs, used field points. Will use broadheads next time, fieldpoints are slow killers, even on small game.

New Marlin XLR
Local gun store had a used 336xlr in 35rem for $350($400 OTD). Its a 2007 model so hopefully doesnt suffer from issues the newer ones have. I now just need to decide to chop it to 18" or leave it be. Should be a dandy deer rifle either way.

Not a lever, but went hunting anyway.
Took my Great Grandfathers old 16gauge H&R topper chasing some rabbits today. It's a 1941 model, not sure when he bought it, but I inherited it in 1987 when I was 16. He died the month before I was born in 1971, so I never knew him, but I'd like to think He's looking down and smiling, seeing his...

I was lucky enough to actually get to climb inside the Sally B, at RAF Duxford. She was beautiful and something I will never forget. Its hard to imagine the guts it took to fly in a B-17 over Germany knowing what your chance of survival was.

Not a levergun, but made meat with my smokepole. Rifle was a traditions buckhunter, load was a 320 grain lee r.e.a.l. bullet on 85 grains pyrodex. Summer sausage, brats and backstrap, oh my!

Re: Need some help with a 39A
Sit down, and hold the buttstock with one hand, the forearm with the other and tap the muzzle of your rifle on the toe of your shoe. It should come apart at the receiver. You can also go to marlins website and read the online manual. Hope this helps.
