Thank you all for the help ! The pistol came with a couple boxes of standard vel. ammo , that is what made me question the age / strength. My time on this rock is almost up and I am trying to make sure my wife has as much info about our firearms as I can give her.

Recently inherited a S&W 22/32 kit gun ( in .22 lr ) 4" blued , square .
Ser # is 471xx .
Is this revolver old enough to to be concerned about using modern Hi-Vel ammo in it ?

Not much of a big deal here , a couple feet or so between Tuesday and Wednesday. All just snow. Only bad part was our idiot goobener :roll: made us send a bunch of cny plow trucks and drivers down east for albany and newyorkistan chity. Left us short for plows and drivers back here.

Happy anniversary. My mom and dad were married on the 13th and made it 55 years before my mom passed. I also love the smell of cherry wood smoke from a wood stove. I don't have any more on our little lot at camp but several neighbors do . Makes for an added bonus walking with the dog up or down the road. I also made sure to bring home a few sections from the pin cherry tree that got too big for bein...

There's a .243 that floats around the family. It's been the rifle most of us learned to hunt larger game with. My only problem with it was that I'm a southpaw, so I had to learn to adapt. There are three other southpaws that have done the same, all after me, so I pointed them in the right direction...
