Re: Star line brass bad
Used Starline for years in both rifle and pistol calibers. It does tend to be a bit thicker than most and tougher in my experience. I solve this by annealing it when I get a new batch of it and then treat it like any other brass annealing every 4th loading. I will say that I get great longevity out ...

Bob was a down right decent person. Had the distinct pleasure of talking with him on several occasions when I was in my teens shooting Cowboy Action. Wish I had been older at the time, I would have been able to better comprehend all the knowledge he had to pass. Glad to hear that Becky is still runn...

Quite a fingernail trimmer there. The sword is even MORE impressive in real life -- just like Jeremy. I got to see it on St. Pattys Day at Jeremy's base housing at Camp Pendleton back in 2009 (I think it was), after a great dinner with he and his family. The craftsmanship on that Germ...

Rolling on the throttle in any gear is an eye opener that's for sure. Went to pass a couple guys on Goldwings yesterday on the drive home rolling on from 70 Mph is was up to 105 before I knew it. Most of my commute is cruising along at 75, with a 114 mile one way drive she does make it easy.

Had a great new job opportunity come my way that I just couldn't say no to. It is a bit of a drive from the house so had to get a new commuter bike to kill the miles on. I haven't seen 30-40 and affordable used in the same sentence in awhile. I think the only way to not go broke with that one is to reload. If I remember right you can make brass from 303 Brit, the necks will be a little short but they will function.

M.wun It was nice to meet you the other day. What range in Corona? I may take you up on that some time. Flatnose that is the Lytle Creek range. Darryl sounds like a plan. It's not a bad range. Is there a way to add insulation to your forge? Looking at the pics on the website it looks like the insulation is just fire brick if so you could possibly remove the brick and replace with 2" kaowool coated with ITC/ Satanite. Should up your insulation rating.
