Re: skinner sights? -opinions wanted-
I have a set of Tim's sights on my 1894 FG. I have no complaints whatsoever.
Tim is nothing but an upstanding person.

Re: Primer prices
just to throw my $.02 in, I bought 3000 Winchester LR primers at the Indy 1500 gun show this past weekend for $35.00 per 1000. To put this in perspective at the May or June 2008 1500 I paid $120.00 +/- for a case of 5000 WLP. I guess I'm set for a while, untill I need some primers for the lower I bo...

Anyone's real Thompson, the M-16 I shot in basic, and my Dad's .357 service revolver and his .38 off duty revolver.

Re: Which Lever Gun Do You LIKE the best ...
Easy question. My Marlin 94FG .41 Magnum, compact and easy to carry and I shoot it better than anything else I own. The .41 mag out of a rifle is good deer and hawg medicine too. They haven't printed enough money yet to part me from this rifle. :) I couldn't agree more. I'm now working up loads with...

Re: IN HONOR OF THE INAUGURATION
I joined the NRA this summer at the Indy 1500 gun show. For Christmas presents this year I signed up (with their blessings) my three brothers. I know that I will renew my membership and I think my brothers will also. They are in descending order, retired Navy officer now working in supply for the Ma...

Maybe because I am an oddball, I like .41 Magnum. I don't have any reason in particular, I just like it.

Re: OT My boys turns 8 today, 1 October 2008
Happy Birthday to your son. Mine turns 21 tomorrow. My daughter will be 26 in a month and a half. (She just told us she is going to have our second grandbaby in April) I have a PA-63 sitting on my bench waiting for him to decide that he wants it. Enjoy these early years because they will soon be liv...

Re: POLITICS - WHAT IS YOUR POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY?
Where your Personal score meets your Economic score on the grid below is your political philosophy. Based on the above score, you are a Liberal-Leaning Populist . I also ask, What is a Populist? 60% Bob Barr. That doesn't suprise me, I have voted Libertarian for the last 4 Presidential elections.

My brother sent me this today. A Gift for my Wife Pocket Taser Stun Gun, a great gift for the wife. A guy who purchased his lovely wife a pocket Taser for their anniversary submitted this: Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked my interest. The occasion was our 1...

Re: Spur of the moment purchase TODAY !
Just this afternoon after work I stopped by one of the gun shops in my area. I enquired about the availabillity of 4 5/8" Blackhawks in .41 Mag. (I need one to compliment my 1894 FG and 6 1/2" Blackhawk.) Although they had none in stock, I was quoted a very reasonable price. I am 90% certa...

Re: OT: Ft Wayne In. info
I have a bunch of relatives that live in that area. One of my cousins is career National Guard up there. That idiot Helmke from the Brady Bunch was the mayor there. I am not sure of the politics there now. The fishing is really good, there are lots of natural lakes within an hours drive. Although I ...

Copy the following and add your name to the count: With a good list of names it will make it easier to secure that date with the Club.
