Rossi 92 in .357 will not feed XTPs?

I picked up Rossi 32 in .357 magnum recently and it will not feed the Hornady XTP or any 357 round for that matter. It is an older Interarms Rossi. I bought one in 97 and wish I still had it..........It would shoot the White box Winchester240gr soft points under 3 inches at 100 yards with a Weaver 2.5X scope..........My handloads with 240gr XTP and 24gr of 296/110 did between 3 and 4 inches..........Speer 240gr Unicores did better than the XTPs...

It was tough..........Beckley WV gunshow...........2 Marlins, Old........Two 336 RC's $395 each.......A top eject 94XTR in .375 excellent condition $495...........A few tables down 2 Marlins...........One RC and on SC..............good condition for their age $300 each................Were these good...

Today I tried 33 gr. of H4895 and the 170 gr Hornady bullet. Held 2 inch group at 50 yards and chronographed 1975 fps out of the 20 inch barrel..........Old Federal factory loads did 2170 fps and put three shots under an inch at 50 yards............I'll give the 3031 a try as it is my favorite 35 Re...

and powder..........Seems like H4895 seems to do the best..........How about Reloader 7?.......I'll be using the Hornady bullet........Just curious if anything works better than the rest.........Thank...............Bob
