OT 32-20 in the SAA
What do you all think the main use of the 32wcf in a SAA was back in the 19th century? From what I understand few people hunted with revolvers back then and there were much better calibers for self defense. They sold quite a bit of them but id think there would be more demand for a rimfire cartridge...

Re: 30-30, 92 type action
I often grab the wrong rifle out of the safe when reaching for a 92 or 94 because they're so close in size. Rather than a new action id like to see and industry wide push to popularize the 25-35 219zipper and 32win in 30-30actions. I too get bored with the 94 in 30-30.

What do you all think of the 444 marlin as an all around target, small game, rock shooting woods gun? I have a ton of bulk cast 240gr swc and really like the lines of the full size 1895 444 rifle. I supose the 1894 in 44mag would make more sense but just cant get that exited about the 94 carbine. If...

As the generations progress i think we'll see a ressurgence of intrest in the da revolver eventually. The medium frame blued 38 governed this country longer than the old west ever was. We ask our sixguns to do more today than anyone ever did in the SAA's heyday. We now know the guns capability but before Elmer Keith few did. While some SAA's will hit poa at 50 yards a blackhawk would be a much more apropriate platform for that task. So rather than try to force the old warbird into...
