I live in a rural area in north Texas (nearly in Oklahoma) and I have made it a point to ignore that ridiculous mandate 100% from the start. It should’ve went to court and been struck down immediately anyway.

I bought a hundred 325 grain hard cast gas check flat point bullets from GT bullets.
