There is a left print to the left of the one you can see plainly, in person it shows up pretty good. Whatever stood there it was in mud a long time ago and turned to rock.

I found these footprints in solid rock in Spearfish Canyon SD back in 82, there in a place that one could picture someone standing looking out across the valley below. That action and loading mechanism is cool and wouldn`t be to hard to make and if one keeps the air pressure down to a low level.
Even if it didn`t have much power it would be a fun project. 8)

@ Pitchy, I have a 2nd gen Colt 7 1/2" in 44 sp. I like it but it hurts. lol wah huh

Thanks everyone, Pokey them planes that put a shoulder and such on a board are cool and some are worth quite a bit of money.

Heard on the radio this morn that the deer are having a hard time in northern MN, that hunger the snow and predators have took a toll.

Thanks Gents, what really amazed me was the number of steel points we seen on old arrows from the past, they must of used steel from what ever they could find. Must of took a lot of grinding with a stone to shape them unless they new a good blacksmith.

Last year while we were on vacation traveling around the country we went to some old forts and i seen some original arrows that had steel points on them. :shock: So you know me, had to make one, hope ya like it. I`m no wood expert and have no idea what the wood can be used for, i`ll let it dry and see what it looks like. I sawed it into three by six by eight feet so it will take a while.
