Here is a great collection of pic's from long ago. Could it be Elmer Keith at about 8.10 on the film? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kP9Y4nlu9Og

That is most certainly a young EK, with his .280 DuBiel Magnum. He wasn't always an old man.

Elmer wasn't yet 30 years old when the American Rifleman started printing his articles.

There is a photo in Keith's autobiography (page 144 in my edition) of which the caption cites 1935. Same rifle , shirt and hat but clearly a different photo than that in the video. There is also a similar photograph that I downloaded from online that cites 1933 and mrs. Keith's .300 h & h "eagle" rifle. There are two pronghorn bucks in that photo.

I saw Theodore Roosevelt, Fred Bear, Howard Hill, Jack O’Connor, and I believe Babe Ruth!

All that game killed by men and women without any electronic devices or telescopic sights.
