Got a Buck with the 44 Mag rifle and cast

I went out back this am and at 9:15 had a large 10 point come toting through. I sent a NOE 240 gr. Dimple point and he just kept trotting. So I sent a second shot which turned out to be not needed. He was hit through the lungs both times about 4 inches apart.
Also the buck I shot last year had the bullet seem to pass sharply down after the hit. This year the bullets shot straight though leaving a 3/4 inch exit for both with a good blood trail.
I used my cowboy II limited with the 240 gr dimple point over 23.5 gr of 296. Also my new Cabelas game cart worked very well, easier to strap him on than it then pull him up to the truck with the Senior citizen back.Wheels easy too!
