Great ending!

There's a few towns I know where they could have ended up a mooseburgers -- both of 'em...........

Good job!
A few years ago, we had one swimming across the river downtown. He got caught in the current and went over the dam onto the rocks (about a 60 foot drop). He rode the rapids below the dam and washed out on the far bank about 300 yards downstream. He crawled up on the rocks and managed to stand. He stood there in one spot and didn't move for a few hours, then just walked up over the bank, walked through town and went on his way.
They are tough critters.
"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.

Unbelievable video!

Nice shooting to break the antler, too.

They are unpredictable, though. I recall sitting in a deer blind
not 20 yards from one for a couple of hours. He saw me come in
and sit down, and went back to sleep. Saw me get up and go home
for lunch too, and went back to sleep.

I saw a video with a big bull taking exception to a snowmobile. He
absolutely destroyed the thing. I would NOT want to be on the receiving
end of that sort of attention!

absolutely. and along those lines - - -

in Alaska on the old rat net state tv there was news video of someone in Anchorage walking to work past a reclining moose. The moose got up when the guy passed on the sidewalk and stomped him to death at the door to the building. nature talks
