Within a few years it is predicted that due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coastal cities uninhabitable.

Of course, global warming is real, and anyone with a shred of intelligence recognizes it; in fact, it's been warming for 12,000 years. Now, Earth's warming has accelerated... just as it always has before plunging into an Ice Age, which in fact is what is next on the agenda climate-wise. All true...
What's NOT true is that human beings have any demonstrable effect on this natural process. AND that warming is a disaster for mankind; the warming periods have always been when Man has flourished. The Man-is-responsible line is NOTHING but a political ploy to force people into line -- and mark my words, when this fails the NEXT "crisis" , the ultimate in political scare tactics, will be an alien invasion...
If aliens, the space kind, are so powerful why haven't they taken over earth by now? After all, they're supposed to have been here for thousands(?) of years already! Maybe govt is rolling them out just to give us something else to be scared of?
Be afraid of aliens? If every world leader stood up and announced that aliens are real, been here and are in contact with them the reaction would be a collective sigh. And the response "so what else is new". About the only folks getting upset would be the leaders of the worlds religions. And then only because it goes against their narrative.
