Kudos on the house Doug ! Looks warm and comfy. The dog couch looks classic. And the moto? I built a harley flat head 45 in my apartment in calif :)

Yes on the cast iron. I cook in a skillet I've had since before I fled calif in '75 or '72, i forget which.

Final hearing was this morning.

Twenty years gone in 20 minutes. Sad.

All good though. Grandpa used to say, there's always another pretty girl right around the corner.
Spending my time working on the new place and making it mine.
Just got the siding done. Turned out quite well.

That's just vindictive as heck! We split ownership if the dogs. I have my two little guys and she kept the lab mix and the Jack Russell. The JRT is Quentin's dog really and follows him everywhere. No way I'd ever break them up. They're both almost 15 and wouldn't adapt to the new place well. Too many steep, bare stairs. Going to have to carpet the main stairwell. Bandit has fallen down them a couple of times and I'll be next, I'm sure.

Oh yes there were many adult words exchanged over that !!!

Gotta love the old stairways, steep, tall steps and good solid hard wood!

Having that behind you is quite valuable if you ask me. I know you didn’t ask me but what she said was so darn cold.

I appreciate the thought though. It was cold hearted and something I'll never forget.

I'm pretty well over it though. I realized that I was quite tired of being treated more like an employee than a partner.

My ex dragged me through a VPO (Victims protective order) hearing - and a major talking point in her correspondence was that i relinquish custody of our 2 mini pigs -- she never showed up to court though -- that time -- the 2nd time we went to court, she walked out after 2 questions from my lawyer

-- still crazy about her though - some of us are just attracted to crazy

I've been able to avoid the crazy for some time. This one is just turned mean and cold. Spending too much time with her mean, fat, disgruntled friends projecting their hatred for their own situations and actions on to me. They could all use multiple sessions with a psychiatrist!
