Of course the simple solution is to stop monetizing their videos. No sponsor ads, no problem.
I have a friend whose channel has been active for many years with millions of hits. Youtube has asked him numerous times to monetize his channel, but he's refused just because he doesn't want anyone telling him what ads can be run. This thing from Youtube only affects those who use ads to make money off their Youtube channel.

I don't know why anyone uses Youtube anymore since Rumble became available. Anybody who doesn't put their stuff on Rumble doesn't get my attention because I figure they are OK with a "little light censorship".

Rumble just don't get the traffic and they have the same requirements for monitazation as youtube. Most of us who do the gun thing on YT hate how they treat us but Rumble is just not there yet. Plus, their platform is not nearly as user friendly. I tried to upload a couple videos there and it was taking hours and hours. Maybe now they have fixed some of the bugs that it had.

I use ad blocker so I don't have to deal with adds on youtube .
