He didn't show much actual views through the scope (a couple seconds through a handheld camera), but I just loke his 'classic redneck' demeanor and blunt style...

And I liked the 'attitude' of his volunteer target...
Great scope review, even if you don't like the scope...

Dang, I sure wish we had a few covey of hogs around these parts -- I'd just have to get one of those things for some real hog shooting.

"If you don't have $4,000 sitting around, you should just get a shovel"... Pretty elitist, in my book.

That was a riot. "You can't hardly kill a hog without thermal."

Yeah Griff that statement was quite insulting. Not everyone has 4 grand sitting around when they have a mortgage, car payments and credit card debt up to their ears let alone feeding their families. Pretty ignorant.

I’ve been listening to that guys podcast (Chad Wright, 3 of 7 podcast) for a while because his combination of dry humor, fitness topics and faith/religion very roughly aligns with my own attitudes
The gentleman is an ex Navy guy who does speaking engagements at a lot of churches in my guess is that the comment about not having an extra 4k lying around was in jest (in poor taste and poorly worded though) Because he is frequently Prattling on about the “poors” just across the border in Alabama (based out of Georgia) and other things
4k seems alright for an optic with that kind of capability if One has a use for it - it’s not something I would make a priority as I would prefer to procure silencers for a handful of firearms- but Also really haven’t made that a priority either

Yeah, there was a lot of tongue-in-cheek stuff in that video. I thought it was funny. Clearly he was joking about people not having $4k lying around for an optic. And then the line about it being impossible to kill a hog without a thermal sight. He's got quite a dry sense of humor. Definitely not for everyone.
