There are days I wish I got into the 'stout pistol big-bores' like the 500 and 475 Linebaughs.... < sigh >
Then I would (of course) have to expand to the 500 S&W and 480 Ruger. Then 'down' to the mere 454 Casull and it's wimpy younger brother the 45 Colt...
Pretty nice to have any of those three in a levergun (not sure I'm up to anything past the 45 Colt in a handgun though...).
I've got the 500 S&W in a levergun, but would NOT want to try a revolver in that chambering (maybe the Linebaugh version).
But either the 475 or 480 seems a nice compromise and thumper for both revolver AND levergun.
Then I would (of course) have to expand to the 500 S&W and 480 Ruger. Then 'down' to the mere 454 Casull and it's wimpy younger brother the 45 Colt...
