There are days I wish I got into the 'stout pistol big-bores' like the 500 and 475 Linebaughs.... < sigh >

Then I would (of course) have to expand to the 500 S&W and 480 Ruger. Then 'down' to the mere 454 Casull and it's wimpy younger brother the 45 Colt... :D

Pretty nice to have any of those three in a levergun (not sure I'm up to anything past the 45 Colt in a handgun though...).

I've got the 500 S&W in a levergun, but would NOT want to try a revolver in that chambering (maybe the Linebaugh version).

But either the 475 or 480 seems a nice compromise and thumper for both revolver AND levergun.

My interest is that I have a double rifle chambered in .480.

.
Yeah - that is such a cool gun...!!! I had a friend with a SxS 45-70, but somehow the 480 is just cooler...
