Merry Christmas, enjoy the warmth of Florida... I'm up here in Michigan, but will be headed for Las Vegas tomorrow! There might be some weather (other than good) between here and there, but... not something I've not experienced before.

Merry Christmas to You.! We had Christmas & Dinner with the Grandkids yesterday. Everyone ate tooooo much and the Kids were like Pirates opening Gifts. Heat wave here on the shores of Lake Erie Today could be 60*. :o  . We are going to cook a Rib Roast on the Grill later . In My 70 years here I haven't seen warm weather very often for the Holidays. I'll take one of My Longbows down to the Archery Range today and celebrate. :D .

Merry Christmas guys!

I got a Vortex 4-16x that is going on my 338 WM for the rest of its days!
Also a high end drone! I apparently mentioned in passing to someone in the family that I wanted a drone so I could video bird hunts and they must have told Santa!
Now I just have to figure out how to fly the thing!

Merry Christmas everyone.
We don't do much for Christmas. It's mostly just about getting everyone together. We do for the grandkids, obviously, but the adults just do a Yankee swap with a 25 dollar limit. The big winner usually ends up with a 5th of rye or bourbon. It's just a nice, no stress time to get everyone together. The way it should be.

I guess my Christmas present is an 8lb can of Unique that FedEx Santa is supposed to deliver tomorrow.

I got a new Chapuis Iphisi .375 H&H
Also a new to me .45 3 ¼ double rifle.
A new to me Leupold VX5HD scope.
And 2 new Trijicon RMR sights.

How, you ask, when you are sure I'm on the naughty list?
I cut out the middlemen.
No Santa, no wife needs to know anything. :D

Ohh...and a new Ruglin trapper!

Merry Christmas! The best gift was we had a big meal at my house with all the kids and grandkids over, plus my mother and the wife's sister and her husband. I must have been pretty good this last year. I received a Burris 4-14 Fullfield scope, a gift card to Cabela's that I have already order some 308 brass with. It was a fun day around here.

A quiet Christmas day, just the wife and myself.
Some fresh haddock and ocean scallops along with a few Guinness!
Unusually warm here in southern Maine!
I took my S&W 18-4 out for some rimfire plinking.
43-year-old Smith still shoots fantastic!
Merry Christmas!

My darling wife understands me.

She didn’t get me anything of monetary value, but something that I would treasure for other reasons.

Can’t wait to get back to Texas.

I bet! Last spring we flew to Las Vegas. Really whished I'd had my .38 with me. Awful place, that I won't be returning to.

The coin is very cool!

I was all excited to get a new flannel shirt and a couple of freshly printed Ben Franklins. :D

Let’s see

Couple of gift cards, a Dewalt drill/impact driver combo pack (already have the Makita counterpart though 😢- bummer )

And the man of the house (me, I’m currently single) thought he deserved a Walter PPK, so I’ve got one of those in Brady delay

Happy to see a good selection of Henry Thunder Boomers at more than one local shop though 😀. 45/70’s seem easy to get now.

I went “all in” on tricking out my Encore 2 months ago though , and since I still haven’t got the new barrels sighted in, I refrained from adding any new long Guns to the mix - but it was not easy to hold back

Merry Christmas!
Sorry to hear that Ted! Head cold or something like it for me. Just hoping it is not RSV, the flu or what would be my third bout with COVID. Nasty stuff going around.

Y2K got me a nice set of walnut grips for my PPK/S. My little girl, now 21 and just graduated from Clemson with her BSN (and shortly to report to the US Navy) got me a nice damascus tanto knife, unfinished, for me to add scales to. Mrs. YK got me a nice pair of Tecovas, made with bison leather.

Oh, and a bunch of things breaking right before Christmas. Doesn't matter though - I got to celebrate Christmas with my wife and both kids, which is the only present I really wanted. :D

That's a great gift Jay -- time with the family.

Seems the older I get, I value that more than material things (even leverguns! Oh my...)

Sorry to hear some of y'all were sick for the holidays...

My wife got me this awesome "keyboard" ring to celebrate my return to the stage (after a 41 year hiatus) rockin' the Hammond organ for her and my kids with my band (first time they ever saw me perform, though they've heard all the stories from the 80's days).

The Blessed Asurance another year of the greatest gift mankind could hope for. The birth of God's own Son, My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! And the blessing of time with my family and children who celebrate and acknowledge the same!

Only material thing I wanted I got, this book. I've read near 100 of its 500+ pages, and it's outstanding. Just a normal guy who over many years beginning in early 70's, hunted and killed all the Big Game of North America, with the same Rem 700 30-06 which he purchased new in 1974, using 165gr up to 200gr Nosler Partitions. Great read on these winter days!
