Does this qualify as a BBQ Gun?

I treated myself this week and bought my first Kimber 1911. A Commander size Pro Raptor II, 45 ACP, of course.
It came with very serviceable Zebrawood grips, but I thought I'd dress it up with a set of SK Grips made from 10,000 year old Mastodon Ivory with a blue/gray/black tone. It's not as perdy as some, but its the nicest 1911 I've had. Haven't time to shoot it yet, but I have no doubt it will shoot as good looks.

I just re joined the 1911 club myself a few days ago. Mine are not bbq worthy, but may do fine at a crawfish boil

Nice looking Kimber. If I ever get back into owning a 1911, Kimber is very near the top of the short list.
